I still cannot figure out why this film isn’t more popular. It is a zillion times better than LA CONFIDENTIAL. This movie is based on a long series of crime books by Walter Mosley. Great performances by Denzel as Easy Rawlins & Don Cheadle as the much adored Mouse Alexander. If you like crime, mystery and everything inbetween this movie would be perfect for you.

I kind of feel bad about opting NOT to see this movie when I had the chance. At the time I found Denzel Washington to be over-rated and would not watch it solely because he was in it. Shame on me.
